  JC no more 1st 3 months ma so to let students enter JC earlier, just have to keep making it earlier lo

  Students who do well

  * go JC

  * go poly

  Students who do badly

  * go ITE

  * repeat at govt school

  * go private school re-do "O" level

  * go commercial school to do other courses

  * go NAFA, SHATEC

  * go NS

  * go out to work

  * go overseas do foundation courses

  * go self-study with or without the help of a tutor(s)

  * go work part-time and re-do "O" level simultaneously

  if i fail O level, is it possible that i can use N level cert to go ITE?

  and if the aggregate score is too high, then can use the minimum entry requirement for each ITE/poly courses?

  if you pass GCE 'O' Level can:

  - go JC

  - go Polytechnics

  Boys can register national service at the same time, and ask them to do auto-deferment. Those who did not apply for exit permit may still have time to do so during registration. Registration notices are pushed from 17.5 to 16.5 years old.

  Those boys who applied exit permit before 16.5 years old are also required to register for national service, failing which they will be jailed to 2 years or fined up to $10,000.

  Boys are not allowed to register national service and apply exit permit after 18 years old.

  Girls are not required to do national service. They will then continue to do tertiary work before going to work like LTA, etc.

  if you fail GCE 'O' Level can:

  - go ITE (similar to JC, and Polytechnics)

  - go NS (direct at 18-year old, no auto-deferment) + register at the same time (not compulsory)
  For boys only
  After registration must do - apply exit permit, go to medical examination

  - go to work (if possible, without registering National Service)

  - repeat at government school (not neccessary)

  - go other schools (maybe private schools or international schools)

  - go overseas and study
  If the boys are registered national service at the same time you have to apply exit permit.

  Exit permits is not required between 13 and 16.5 years old. You can apply exit permits anytime as long as not registering National Service before 16.5 years old, but if you apply between 16.5 years old and above, you must register, failing which they will be jailed for 2 years or fine up to $10,000. Furnishing a bond up to $60,000 is not required anytime unless there is an urgency.

  After registration and medical examination, select which organisation wanted to take you to (like SAF, SCDF or SPF). You can drive any vehicle, even with Class 3 licence, you can also drive trucks or military vehicles.

  SAF = Go to Pulau Tekong
  SCDF = Go to Jalan Bahar (Civil Defence Academy)
  SPF = Go to HomeTeam Academy

  Sometimes they need to pass:

  • English (L1, very important subject)
  • Mother Tongue (not neccessary)
  • Mathematics
  • Any Science subjects
  • Any Humanities subjects
  • Combined Humanities (optional)

  wah, 26 students per level

  26 * $150 (assuming all are group) * 2 (sec3 sec4) = $7800 per month
