I'm about to enter junior college and have to decide between biology and physics. Truth is I fine biology easier than physics but it seems to me that there are lots more options in future if one chooses physics as compared to choosing biology. I cannot decide which science I like better as I kinda like Science in general.
So the question is this, if i choose physics, do I have a chance to enter all biology courses as I am also taking chem, econs and maths?
And as a side question, what is bioengineering? Does it have anything to do with physics?
why dont you take phy, chem, bio?hahaha.not sure if got this combi mah..
Unless you're certain you only want a Uni course which requires H2 Bio, it is far better to take H2 Physics, as it opens A LOT more doors in the Uni.
You still have a month before entering a JC. You should use this time to check out H2 Biology syllabus & resources and compare with H2 Physics syllabus & resources. See if you're significantly more inclined towards one than the other.
H2 Syllabuses :

no ah. actually only about 18 days, not 1 month liaozxz
you can always consider H1 in one of the subjects together with your 4 main H2s (that's if your school allows).
i.e. 4 H2s 1 H1 GP PW MTL = 12 unit
H2 Physics is fun!
Ask yourself this question... Are you more mathematically and analytically inclined, or more mugging of massive amount of information inclined?
If you are the former, choose H2 Physics.
If you are the latter, choose H2 Bio (Ultimaonline, would you kindly confirm if I'm right? :) )h
what if the person is analytically inclined but not mathetically inclined ? X.X
wah... i also same age as u all... but i dunno take wat subject...
in fact i dunno how jc subject is like, i mean i dun even know how the grading of ur subject results is determined...
so far i heard that in jc u need take 4 subjects... am i right?
also i am taking all 3 sciences... is that alright?

Yes, absolutely.
And the 'massive' just got a LOT more 'massive' with the new H2 syllabus. The H2 Bio syllabus is unique in the world today. 'A' level Bio syllabuses in the UK and USA do not require the student to memorize anywhere as much as the H2 Bio syllabus, with all the Uni level molecular biology and biotechnology brought down into the H2 syllabus.
A few years ago, a group of Cambridge examiners came to visit several JCs to check out their H2 Bio resources, and their feedback was all the JCs overload their H2 Bio students with more details and depth than will actually be required by their mark schemes. (basically JCs just photocopy Uni level Bio textbooks and tell their students to memorize everything).
H2 Biology is really H2 Kiasu. Takes all the fun out of Biology.

Then need training by me lor
H2 Physics isn't much difference from A level Physics last time.... They took out Electronics and Physics of Fluids, but added in Lasers and Semiconductors.... the very basic ones without any calculations for semiconductors... Basically, Lasers and Semicons is a topic like O level's Kinetic Theory of Matter; pure memorisation... Other than that... mostly maths equations
damnit. ~_~
aiya i dun like project works
