wtv further maths notes or textbook

  hi guys, im looking for further mathematics notes or textbook, either international or singapore SEAB syllabus also can.

  i understand that singapore already phase out FMaths, hopefully someone still kept their f maths notes.

   

  im willing to pay for it

    You may go to Popular bookstores to purchase the book Further Pure Mathematics by Bostock, Chandler and Rouke. If you do not mind having a used copy, you may try secondhand bookshops at Bras Basah. Good luck in your search.

    Singapore may have phased out Further Maths, but many topics from it remain in H2 Maths.

  May i know whether the Further Pure Mathematics by Bostock, Chandler and Rouke covers all the topics in the F maths syllabus? For example the statistics part and the mechanics part?

  Hi,

    In case there are students from H2 Maths wishing to know more about CIE F Maths, they should note that the H2 syllabus does not cover a substantial amount of F Maths content:
   
    - Roots of polynomials
    - Centroids and surface areas
    - Areas of polar curves
    - Reduction formulae
    - Second-order DE
    - Matrices
    - Further applications of de Moivre's theorem
    - Confidence intervals involving two means
    - Hypothesis testing involving two means
    - Chi-squared tests
    - Exponential distribution
    - Everything about mechanics (a lot!)

    Students before the H2 syllabus really picked up a lot more than students today.

  Actually I still have my F maths notes

  Anyway, for Mechanics part, any uni physics textbook on Mechanics will train you sufficiently...
