Need help~ (subject combi)

Hi all, the 2010 JAE posting results are coming out on Wednesday morning, but.....
I forgot to consider one thing when I made my choices. My nett points for O levels is 7pts, and I placed Temasek JC science as my first choice. The COF for TJC sci last year was 6 pts so I'm not 100% sure I will get in, just testing my luck. My problem is, I did not consider whether I will be able to get the subject combination I want. If I enter TJC with 11points as raw L1R5, I would be like entering with the lousiest grade, so would I not be able to get the subject combi I want? From what I heard, the subject combi I want is very HOT....which is PCME.....so....do you guys think I will be able to get in? Is there like a very limited amount of slots for this subject combi?
And if I can't get this combination I might just appeal to go to MJC...which is my 2nd choice....and I think its super "guai lan" if I do that -____-

Hmm in my opinion (I am also waiting for the JAE results so I may not be that reliable xD)
You may not stand a chance for TJC. It is also rather popular (it's a top 5 JC is it not?) But even if you get in, like you said, it may be hard for you to get the subject combi. of your choice. PCME as you know is incredibly popular as well. Normally since PCME is popular, there may be more classes offering this subject.
Well you can appeal to MJC, if the school asks why just explain to them and I'm sure they will accept your reasoning. It is not that 'guai lan' after all it's an honest mistake and I'm sure they don't mind, except it is rather uncommon?

Anyway I just went down to TJC and consulted a teacher today, so for the benefit of those who are also curious, here is what I found out:
Once you are accepted into the sci/arts stream, you will be able to take the subject combination you want, provided its not some screwed up combination that your school can't provide. In my case, since PCME is a very common combination, if I can get into TJC sci stream I will be able to get that combination.
