Hi there, now that I finally know that JC don't have textbooks... I decided to buy some assessments books for practice, because I cannot survive without textbooks.
I have went to popular bookstore to take a look at the A level books and found out that there many books for a subject. So I don't know which one is really the good and indepth one.
May I know anyone of you have any recommendations for H2 Physics, H2 Maths and GP?
One more thing, I can't seem to find H2 computing books. Or there isn't a single book on computing?
You can tell me the name of the book or the author.
Thanks alot.
Any recommendations? I don't want to anyhow buy a book and jump into it. I hope to start early because there are no textbooks and I feel like I am rotting at home...
The lecture notes should be more than enough for you to read.
Rather than Assessment books, try out TYS, as TYS questions are those which will likely pop out in your own "A"-lvl exams.

PS : Should you have any questions, please post them on this homework forum and the moderator wee_ws and eagle and other regular forumers Mikethm, Forbiddensinner and Trueheart will kindly help you.
Thank you for your help. I guess I will take the study guide, after that I just keep on doing the ten year series.
Like that good right? Covering the syllabus before practicing.

Your school doesnt give you guys lecture notes in advance to look through? PS: Dont't get GP guide books, most the the questions posed are not in tune with questions you will encounter in exams.
Yea my school doesn't and lessons only start after chinese new year... We have to wait for teachers to give us notes. It's like rotting at home for 1 whole week.
And bookshop only sell syllabuses.
really?
.... my lessons start already........ so fast. -_-

Dear Han Chiang,
You can start with a chapter eg Binomial Theorem and Expansion in the H2 Textbook to which you have learnt in your "O" level Add Maths.
Next, proceed to the study guides to see more examples, tips, shortcuts and patterns on the topic Binomial Theorem and Expansion.
Please refer to the moderator Mr Wee's very useful summary on the types of questions and patterns asked by Cambridge examiners for each topic of H2 Maths too.
Next, proceed to do the Binomial questions set by all the JCs lecturers from 2007 to 2009 and then finally to do all the binomial questions in the Ten Years Series.
You can follow a similar approach for the other topics. However, it is to be noted that some topics eg Vectors will be more tough and need more time and effort than other topics.
Should you need any help on any questions or concepts, please do not hesitate to post them in this homework forum and the moderators wee_ws and Eagle and other regular forumers Mikethm, Forbiddensinner and TrueHeart will kindly help you.
Thank you for your kind attention.
