hi all, need advise. I just got my A levels results
H2 - Maths A
H2 - Chem C
H2 - Econs D
H1- Physics E
H1-GP D
i want to pursue maths related courses in nus . possible?
quite tough to get into NUS science. You should try NUS FASS and do econs, coz THERE'S ALOT OF MATHS IN IT. and maybe take some maths subjects from science faculty when u feel like. yup. that'll suit you.
In nus u are allowed to take course from all the other faculties except law dentistry medicine.... like duh right... haha
oh okay. what about ntu science? im actually quite keen. but let's say worst come to worst, i should be still able to get a place in any of the three uni right? other than nursing course.

If you want to get into NUS or NTU general Science (eg. Physics, Chemistry, etc; you can teach as a career) , you will need to retake your 'A' levels. Maintain your A for H2 Maths, but get an A for H2 Chem and at least a B for H2 Physics. Then you can safely get into NUS or NTU general Science.

oh that's disappointing. from what i know, to retake As , everything has to be done in one sitting. i have alr ORD-ed.
u can do design if your portfolio is strong. but ntu science is quite impossible to be honest. Maybe u can try doing engine too. like civil engine
