Hi all
How to take AP exams and SAT exams in Singapore? Is it even possible? Please help me. Thank you.
SAT & AP = Singapore American School
UK 'A' Levels = British Council (Singapore)
Hi,
Students from NUS High take AP Calculus AB or BC in their Year 5.
Thanks.
Cheers,
Wen Shih

Yes, I'm currently tutoring an NUS High student for her AP Chemistry.

Thank you moderators UltimaOnline and Wen Shih for your very kind help. I called both the Singapore American School and the NUS High School and they both said that only students enrolled in their school would be able to sit for the AP exams in May. It seems that I cannot sit for the AP exams??

Unfortunately, it appears you do have to register for their year-long courses before you take sit for the AP exam (and then, only SAS, and not NUS High, opens the course and exam registration to the public).
Most Universities which accept AP will also accept UK 'A' Levels. Why don't you sit for that instead? Or do you already have those qualifications?
I see. Thank you UltimaOnline, I really appreciate your help!
Advanced Placement is not useless, instead it differentiates you from ordinary students. It enables you to enter top universities in the world with advanced standing. With advanced standing, you can graduate early in 3 years for a bachelor degree and 1 year for a master degree in 4 years undergraduate study, if intended. With advanced standing, you earned 2 degrees compared to 1 degree that ordinary students in 4 years undergraduate study obtained.
this private school offers AP classes:

you can register directly with collegeboard to take the AP exam.
you do NOT need to be a SAS or NUSHS student.
I have got one army mates who take A levels. ( UK one)
SAT and AP exams administered are only for SAS students only.
