Hello!
I have several questions regarding studying ACA qualification from ICAEW in Singapore, if anyone could help me answers them, I'll be really really grateful! :)
1) What is the general view of employers on the ACA qualification in Singapore? What do they expect from an ACA qualification? Does this qualification only matter to the Big 4 or what are the other job prospects?
2) Currently I only know one institute offering the ACA in Singapore (a joint programme with CPA), that's the SAA. Are there any other tuition centres offering this? If so, any advice on which is better place to learn from?
3) How many years is required for a training contract with a ATO to qualify for ACA? What happens if that training contract is broken (not by choice but hopefully not haha)?
4) How long do students generally take to complete the ACA? How many papers are generally taken at one go?
5) When registering as a student with ICAEW, does this incur a fee or do membership fees only pertain to after qualification?
6) Is there anyone who's currently studying the ACA or completed their ACA out there? would you mind letting me contact you to get a better view about actually studying it in singapore?
Many many thanks!
Jeanette
