How to do well in o level summary

Hi , i wonder is there any tips to do well for gce o level english summary and is commas and full stop counted as part of the 150 word? Please help me , i really need a pass for my english.Thank u for your help in advance.

Practise some on your own first. Commas and full stops are not included in the word restriction.
My old, outdated way of writing.
Highlight all the important points (at least 15) and process the points in my mind to form a nice flowing paragraph. I will then use conjunctions and connective words to join the points together to form a sentence. Double check the grammer. re-read the summary again and make sure the teacher can understand and able to see the points without frowning.

write a draft and if cannot replace some words, dun try to replace
But try to replace as much as possible
Full stop, commar no count, doesn't = 2 words, SG Forums company = 1 word

Last time I had some ways to "cheat", but I forgot most. I try to recall...
For me, unnecessary words can always be removed.
i.e. He found out that he could jump!
Summarize: He found he could jump!i.e. Because of the fact that she was ....
Summarize: Because she was ....Something like that...
