I don't know about the rest of you but I just find that it is very time consuming for the student to pay for re-module, re-exam course fee for a max of 3 years for 1 subject just to pass a certificate or diploma level ! why can't the school be more flexible in allowing the student to change a subject or drop the subject instead? The worse thing is, just because of 1 subject, you are being drag on for 3 years and if you still fail to pass the subject after 3 years, you will have to redo ALL the other subject all over again! Isn't that a waste of time and money!
What's more we paid for the course fee as well. It's find without having givien us the textbook as some lecturer doesn't rely on the text. However, the administrator is really very inefficient in giving us notes as well. She uploads the notes at 6plus before our lesson starts at 7pm. How on earth does she expect us to print it in time for class? The worse thing is, when I complaint to the school, they would just push the blame to the lecturers. I can understand if is 1 lecturer but how can it be possible for more than 3 lecturers having the same kind of problem?!
Not only that, the administrator isn't clear in giving instruction via email too. She asked me to bring along my appeal result which is only a letter that state that my appeal has failed. I was taken aback when I went to school, the students' officer asked for my EXAM result instead!
I am really very disappointed with the service rendered.
Those of you who are thinking about taking your course there, think twice.
Hmm.... I give u my permission to QQ. Studying degree or diploma ?
You forgot to add stuff like
1) you get your 1st sem exam results after you did your 2nd sem exam
2) change/addition of timetable @ last minute
3) study/project meeting until 12am
However, passing all modules requirement seems to be the standard everywhere. In poly, you will not get your dip if you failed one module. can repeat 1-2 times only somemore.
By now you would have realised tertiary eduction institutes are not run like schools, but businesses. The core value is to generate profit. Not provide you with an education.
true.. it all boils down to talent or money.
But why you can fail so many times---3 years??
if u not happy studying there, change to SIM lar. for private schools, I suggest you study at SIM.
aiya different schools have different problems, i also dont like my secondary school's general office staffs, dont know they there for what also.
ive been at mdis and psb, so jus giving my own opinion:
i dont think Mdis is any better, Sim is more ex, harder to get into, and more suited for working professionals.
hope u can just tahan the crap, and pass well.
