Hi,
Just teach according to your interests and personality, and teach in a variety of contexts you have listed :) Having different teaching experience will enrich your pedagogy and deepen your insight about education and learning needs. Thanks.
Cheers,

I like to teach. But only teaching ppl in the higher standards. To teach from the scratch, its very tough, and I admire those who are willing to do that.
One-to-one tuition is most satisfying as one is in total attention to only one student and one can see the weaknesses of the student and render specific help to the student to ensure the student's success, provided with the co-operation and hardwork of the student.
If you like to teach you become a teacher and that is very different from a person who likes to do research and finally becomes a professor in a university.
The difference is distinct

I will say that it depends on the individual.
Some educators are better at teaching really young children, whereas others can only handle those with a certain level of maturity.
There do are educators who can work on different levels, but I believe that most educators have a range of optimal teaching levels which they will teach best at.
So if one have the passion to teach, besides looking at the pay, they will also have to ask themselves what is their own ability level, and which level(s) of students will they be able to communicate with, teach, and handle best.

Hi,
There are exceptions. :)
As a research mathematician, research has deepen my insight into mathematics in the last 3 years and helped improve my teaching of the subject.
Thanks.
