1. Adam and Ben began their journey at the same time. Ben took 6 hrs to complete while Adam took 9 hrs to complete his. After 3 hrs, the two were left with the same distance to complete. What is the ratio of the distance of Ben's journey to the distance to Adam's journey?

after 3 hours,
Ben left 6 - 3 = 3 hours
Adam left 9 - 3 = 6 hours
Ben speed: D/time = D/3
Adam speed: D/time = D/6
(D is the same)
Ben D: 6h x D/3 = 2D units
Adam D 9h x D/6 = 3/2 D units
B : A
2 : 3/2
4 : 3
