Hello
I am Yr1 in XYZ JC. I have decided to drop out after much deliberation and thought after my exams.
I have decided to get an Engineering Diploma in one of the polys here. So before i head to the admission office to enquire more, I would like to ask if anyone has a similar experience and how you felt about it, also, what are the processes needed to get a place?
Help anyone?
I want to drop out. Jc lifestyle is not for me.
Help, please.
I suggest you talk to your civics tutor (form teacher) regarding this matter, they know best.
You must ask yourself why you wish to drop out of JC. If it is specifically the lifestyle as a JC student, you may still wish to get an 'A' level cert even after leaving JC.
You may wish to consider doing private 'A' levels at the same time, while doing your poly diploma. This is of course, best done when your poly course and your 'A' level subjects are similar or related. Eg. chemical engineering poly diploma, take H2 Chem, H2 Physics, H2 Maths at the same time.
I've tutored chemical engineering poly students. There's a significant overlap with the H2 Chem syllabus. Both will help prepare you for the other.
I guess you gotta wait for the next poly intake, which is next year.
As for JC, you have to get a dropout letter from your form teacher. So the first step starts with the form teacher.
