sin r times sin r equals?

  yep.. is sin r multiply by sin r equals (sinr)^2 ?

  but you can't make sin ^2 in the calculator

  i have a equation sin r * sin r = 0.56

  and i hv to find r.

  pls help! thanks!

  sin^2 r = 0.56

  So just square root both sides, and you get sin r = sqrt (0.56).

  Go and work out for yourself what sqrt (0.56) is with your calculator.
