General Paper at JC1

  Hi all,

  Can anyone who is in JC2 let me know what you learnt for General Paper iin JC1. Just the outline would be most apprecaited.

  Learnt how to answer the relatively "new" questions, such as the Summary Question, AQ (Application Question), both of which are in Paper 2.

  For Paper 2 (Comprehension), we were taught on the approach to different types of questions - factual, inference, "quote-a-phrase/word/sentence" etc.
  And also not forgetting on how to answer in your own words as far as possible.

  For Paper 1, my subject tutor had spoonfed us with tons of content knowledge, which I think was unnecessary as content can be self-read and that skills are more important.
  We were advised on the different categories the questions in this paper fall in (eg. environment, science & tech) and how to choose the question that we can score most marks in.
