Hi All,

Here's my promos results

Distinctions - Biology

B - Economics

C - Maths, Chemistry

D - GP

I had a few questions to ask

I had accepted H3 UCLES offer ... will it be difficult for me to cope given my current result
How to work hard for GP ??? Is reading of newspapers and model essays enough?
For Chemistry, how am i to improve, my structured qns is ok, but MCQ and essays always pull me down

For Chemistry, if you find yourself losing marks because of your phrasing of the answers even though you know your concepts, then simply adopt the system of keywords and iterations of (ie. memorize and write in the same way as) CS Toh's A level study guide :

Math is all about practising. Just keep doing TYS and other schools' papers. Keep up the good work with your Econs & Bio! =)

Hi,

Your results are decent :)

For GP, reading more helps. However you need to analyse the articles to see how and why they have been written.

To improve Mathematics, obtain copies of other schools' promo papers and work on the questions to gain greater mastery of problem-solving. In addition, develop an insight of the common skills and concepts typically assessed by examiners (both schools and Cambridge). The checklist I have developed may help, please see:
