Ex poly student entering thru DAE

  Hi i am an ex poly student as i got dismissed from ngee ann poly. I fail horribly for the exams in the first semester, i got posted into a course that i didnt like. They asked if i want to do a remodule. But i said no because i didnt want to study those same modules that i didnt like. Although it would be a good strategy to meet the requirements for transfer.

  I check with TP and SP if i am eligible to enter through DAE upon the release of this year's O level results. The requirements states that i must complete NS first. 

   

   

  I really hope i can enter through DAE for the the April intake in 2011. But i haven't completed my NS.

   

  Now i need to get a dismissal letter from NP and send it to CMPB. And they will only grant me a deferment if i sucessfully enter TP or SP through the DAE. 

   

  I really dont want to go to NS at 18.....

   

  I just want to start in a course that i like in April next year. Never mind if i wasted 1 year of my time.... But i just dont want to enter NS at 18...

   

  Any advice???

  i enlist at age 18 and now i ORD LOH! , 20 yrs old come out no need think of ns anymore for the time being , except for reservist. So why not enlist at age 18? it's not a bad thing afterall. Finish earlier and be a NSman at age 20. =)

  You will not go to NS @ 18 if you do not want to. :)

   

  Get that letter from NP, fax it to CMPB. Call the hotline and request someone that can make decision.

  The person will most probably advice you to wait after DAE before asking you to go NS. :)

   

  DAE, 15, 16, 17 average points... most likely won't be successful.

  Don't worry...

  I had been in and out of poly at least 3 times before i enlisted... your first deferment letter still works... you only need to submit your dismissal letter if you want to enlist sooner...

  So how did you get into poly again after u got dismissed for the first time?

  They told me to enter thru DAE( the only way i can enter poly).

  And most poly would want me to complete NS first before i enter again..... 

  Are you sure it works the way you suggested?
