Private Tutor? or ITE? Which is better?

  Hi, I have finish Sec 3 Normal Academic this year and I wish to study Sec 5 Normal Academic next year, which is the 'O' level course. I emailed to ITE and said that am I allowed to register for the sec 5 normal academic course, they said that it is advised for me to complete 'N' level course then proceed to sec 5 'O' level course and right now I also have a private tutor to teach me 'O' level course which I want to apply next year. For physics, as I read from this link: http://www.seab.gov.sg/privateExamInstructions/2010InstructionsForPrivateCandidates.pdf that I need to attend night class ITE in order to take the 'O' level physics exam. So in that case, I can't take the 'O' level exam for physics but just to gain knowledge to it, but only E-Maths and A-Maths in 'O' level exam, I can attend for the exam. My choice is very limited now as I am not sure which would be better choice for me, either to let my tutor to tutor me 'O' level course or go to ITE to study night classes.

  lol, thanks but I have got a tutor already and I am not really fond of my tutor because he is impatient as I am not really good in my maths and physics which he is tutoring me right now and I am also thinking of switching my tutor. I am not sure are you a patient tutor who don't mind slow learner like me? :P

  sorry TS,

  just to tell you that if you are currently enrolled in a government school, you are not allowed by seab to sit for exams as private candidate.

  and i suppose you will be taking ur N levels next year, and how are you going to sit for 2 different exams at the same time, even if ur able to register for both.

   

  and for science subjects, as private candidate, you are required to enrol in a recognised school for lab lessons, to prepare for the practical tests, so just having a tutor is not enough.
