Armature resistance: 0.5W
Shunt field resistance: 110W
Q2. A DC shunt motor has armature and field resistances 0.4W and 110W respectively. The applied voltage source is 220V. The motor works at full load speed of 1000rpm and draws a total current of 32A. The iron and mechanical losses are 300W.
a. Draw the circuit diagram of this motor.
b. Determine the counter EMF induced in the armature.
c. Determine the output power of the motor.
d. Determine the output torque of the motor.
