Not done well in year1 sem 1&2. Please advise. I'm trying contact MOE and the army about deferment and also about the tuition grant. Thanks!! :)
Unless you drop out of poly, and enter it again (which seriously I will strongly advise again, since there is no guarantee they will take you back in again), there is no way you can repeat the year.
If you have serious illnesses which cause you to miss the entire sem, it is possible to redo the sem. But if you are redoing the year because your grades are bad, then it is not possible.
How it works is that if you did not fair in a particular module, you will be asked to re-take it the next Semester. I you still do not fair well, the School may dismiss you. That's what I remember.

That is for failing ba. If you fail you must redo a module, but if just pass, cannot retake it. Some faculties will hurl you out after you fail a 2nd time, while others will do so only after the 3rd time. GPA is counted using your results from the 1st try though.

I should pass all modules. Just that i feel that it's not up to my standard as I did not even have time to study and been working. Intending to get scholarship to support me and stopping work. However I do want to redo entire year. Think afterall it's not possible ba....
Nope it is not possible since you pass.
Just work hard for the rest of the sem. You may want to check up on the scholarships which you are targeting first, and find out their requirements. By knowing their requirements, you can work ahead and plan what to do.
All the best.
