Integrate [ e^(3x) ] [ arctan (e^(-2x)) ]
Hi,
I used the Wolfram Mathematica Online Integrator to integrate the given expression and obtained a result that is not nice. I feel that a question that is more feasible would be to integrate e^x arctan (e^(-x)) using integration by parts. Other possibilities, upon experimentation with the integrator, are:
1. e^(2x) arctan (e^(-2x))
2. e^(2x) arctan (e^(-x))
3. e^(3x) arctan (e^(-x))
4. e^(3x) arctan (e^(-3x))
Thanks.
Cheers,
Wen Shih
Is the question part of a bigger question that asks you to differentiate or integrate something?
hi, thanks for all your help.. think prob something wrong with qn..
