I intend to take O and A Level French this year as a private candidate because I love studying languages. Has anyone taken O/A Level French or German before?
I would appreciate some advice on the contents and details of the papers for O and A Level French and German.
I would also like to purchase past year exam papers (TYS) and study notes for French and German. Please send me a private mail if you have some French or German notes to sell to me!
I would also like to buy some intermediate to advance level Korean Language books. They are really difficult to obtain in Singapore.
PS: If anyone is keen on learning Japanese, please send me a private message as well. I have taken and done well in A Level Japanese and I can provide you with some advice and notes!
Thank you!
only took O level german before.
there's a oral test, where they give you a text to read, followed by a dialogue with the examiner about a given topic. e.g. your future, your interests etc.
listening comprehension exam. format is much like your PSLE exam.
as for the written paper, there is a composition, some comprehension text, cloze passage.
for A levels, at H1 level, format is around the same.
for H2 level, its a different, with literature aspect, where you have to study german literature texts, german poems etc.
