Hey guys. I am currently a JC 1 student. I feel that JC life is quite tough and hectic and I spend around 1hour+/- travelling from home to college. So I have talked to my parents about dropping to poly and they agreed. I have already appealed to the poly and now i am afraid that they will not take me in. btw the course i appealed to, my COP does meet the requirements. Any advice if i get rejected by the poly? Hopefully i can get in.. :( Thanks!
Hi,
You can only wait for the outcome and decide what is to be done next. Thanks.
Cheers,

your COP meet the requirements then its ok la.
if your L1R5 meets the COP, then there is a good chance. but it depends on who else appealing last minute and who is changing out of the course tt you chose. if cannot get, one option is to appeal through your MP. now is GE time. they'll sure put in extra effort to help you get what you want de.
actually i don't think poly is any better? you should consider what you want in the future. if you want to get into a local uni, then you should try to stay in jc. poly is really hard to get into uni.
HI i just finish my a levels and I wanted to go to poly and then go back to uni from there.Do u think it is advisible to take this route? Im applying foe the biotechnology course in poly and planning to take biological science in uni.

If you go ahead with this route, you should retake your H2 Chem + H2 Bio 'A' levels every year (during your Poly years) until you score 'A' grades for both subjects. 'A' grades for both H2 Chem + H2 Bio, plus a good GPA for your BioTech diploma, will get you better chances of entering Biological Science in NUS/NTU, than either an 'A' levels cert or a diploma, alone.
