Hi,
(3^2/3) x (4^7/3) x (6^1/3)
Stuck with this qns for almost one hr....
3^2(1/3) x 4^7(1/3) x 6^1/3
= 9^1/3 x 16384^1/3 x 6^1/3
= (9 x 16 384 x 6) ^1/3
= (884 736) ^1/3
= cube root (884 736)
= 96
must be done w/o calculator. if using your method its too tedious. do you have other methods?
Cannot use calculator then use the below indices law with fractional indices loh.
ya × yb = ya+b
(ya)b = ya×b
A fractional power means that you have to take a root of the number. For example, 4½ means take the square root of 4 = 2. Similarly, x1/3 means take the cube root of x.
We can use the rule (ya)b = ya×b to simplify complicated index expressions.
(1/8)-1/3; = [(1/8)-1]1/3 = [8]1/3 = 2
Amazing shit right this google?
4 can be 2^2 (oso not helpful in this eqn)
3 and 6 no have root
i solve ald
3^2(1/3) x 4^7(1/3) x 6^1/3
=(9x6)^(1/3)x2^(14/3)
=3x2^(1/3)x2^(14/3)
=3x2^5
=96
See, google saves the day again, now thank me.
thanks.
Please come back again!
