BTW, i am the green ambassador of my class. Will it help? (ps: I just accidently became so "green". LOL.)

Hi Suk! As a member of the Green Club, you should get participation points. You may wish to check with the HOD of CCAs regarding this.
However, CCA points may not be as important as your O Levels though it does help you to apply to JCs/Polytechnics. Your CCA points will be taken into consideration when you receive your O Level results.
SO let's say the course you want to go to is 10 points, but you may only have 11 points. So your CCA may help you. Even though it is not crucial, but it is helpful to have some.
heard that now CCA points is very important for top JC like RJC VJC
because even 6 pointer lose out to those with sec school affiliation or CCA points.
getting more and more crazy the academic system here.
its like raising the bar higher and higher until even perfect score of 6 As is not enough
but why you choose green club?
boring leh
I secondary school Green club also. Plant trees and plants.
I wear the straw hat like luffy.
I joke with ppl I am luffy.
green club is promote recycling, save the environment.....
those doing planting and bonsai is horticulture club
or some use chi-chi name like green fingers
yes, a lotta 6 pointers now oso have good CCA grades.
so this makes them "4 pointers"
which give them priority of the priority
btw, the top 5 JCs oredi have IP (RJC, HCJC, NJC, TJC, VJC)
so it is tougher than tough to go fight those few miserable places left (each institution still allocate A FEW places for the Os ppl to enter)
and oh, dun forget the foreign scholars.
and even if u get in, the rest of your schoolmates who were in IP oredi got a good headstart (oredi above and beyond the A syllabus), u have to quadruple your effort to catch up
and in a year's time, we may see u back here again.... frustrated n compraining abt the stress.....
and due to commitment in academic work, u have no CCA point again
and then u will ask, entry to uni how ah?
Fireice made a very good point.
