Hi!
I would like to know that for vehicles(eg trains) is speed or force more important for:
1)Startup acceleration(moving from speed 0)
2)normal acceleration(already moving)
And provide explanation if possible.
thanks!
It is the force that cause an object to accelerate.
While the change in speed is acceleration.
This question don't make sense.
Can rephrase ur question???
Actually what I wanted to know the gear ratio used for different situations.(they are related since bigger>smaller gear = less MA = higher speed; smaller>bigger gear = more MA = lower speed)
And what I wanted to know is related to vehicles, basically trains. So when a train from 0 speed moves off the station, what gear setting is used? while when a train accelerates (acceleration 0 to some amount; maybe 0m/s to 1m/s acceleration) when moving,(like a car moving at 50km/hr then step on gas to increase speed) what gear setting is used for optimized speed?
