Hi
If you want to play safe, why not take double science and double humanities instead?
To me, if you have alr decided to go to the jc or poly, taking the necessary subs will be the best .
I strongly discourage students to take triple science nowadays unless, you are studying in a top IP school, such as HCI, RI... Reason being: JC cannot offer triple science any more, therefore even if you get 3 A1s in O level, you still have to give one up in JC, which I considered as a 'waste'. However, if you intend take triple science because you have a hard time deciding which two you like more at this stage, go ahead and figure that out in the next two years.
If you can handle it, why not?
Tell us more about how you feel and fare towards Geography, History, English Literature.
Also let us know if there's additional option to add in F&N, D&T or POA.
Pure Science and Combined Science got not much differences except that you get a deeper and better understanding of the subject.
Either you get Triple science, or you ger 1 Pure and Combine Science. I suggest triple sciences.

Very good balance, and the advice of teacher is worth considering.
Science may have found a cure for most evils; but it has found no remedy for the worst of them all - the apathy of human beings.
