Hey guys, Ive just received my n-level results a day ago. my results were bad. I only got 19 points. Ive got a dilemma whether should I go sec 5 or ITE. if I go take higher nitec, do I have to be the top --% in the cohort to get a place in poly? friends encouraged me to go to sec 5 but I dont know if I can cope in sec 5. the highest grade I got was 3 which is bad. any advice or opinion? thanks in advance.
Go to Sec 5. Get your good O levels.
Then to go JC or milennia for
A Levels.
A levels is recommended becos it'll surely let you go into uni.
Specifically NUS.
Only da top 10% of poly grads gets into NUS.
So don't waste time going to Poly.
Go to JC or Milennia.
That's why go to Sec 5.
well... ever thought of going to private institute?
Our School cannot afford to pay to advertise.
4 years ago i was like you, donno whether to go Sec 5 or ITE.
With my friends and parents encouragement i went sec 5.
Yes that sec 5 year is tough, but thank god i choose sec 5 and get into a poly. now im about to grad from poly already.
Listen to my advise, go sec 5.
if u can cope with sec 5 , y not
but actually joining ITE is not a bad solution
2 yrs if u can get GPA 3.5 and above
u are also be able to apply for Poly ...
but for mi , Sec 5 lar ... unless u can cope with
sec 5 of course.
Sec 5 may be tougher for you noe.but it doesn't mean you can't catch up.why not start revising what your teacher has taught now? It's better late than never.
If u choose to go ITE,it will be'easier ' only in te beginning because,u have to consistently top the cohort in ITE and poly to secure yourself a good place in UNI.whereas the sec5 route,u can study hard, get good o level results.go jC get good Alevel result.secure a place in UNI.
Btw in my sch,abt 80++%make it to UNi...while poly about 5-10% nia...either way u have to workhard.
But I would recommend u to take the sec5 route.saves time.
JIAYOU.you can do it!
Ive already applied ITE and want to go to sec 5 now. so how?
Tomorrow, go back to your school and find your Principal.
