higher chinese

  Hi , i reaaalllyyy need help for Higher Chinese for the Paper 2 ( comprehension & stuff) and the chinese oral part. For Paper 2 : I cant really understand some parts in the passage, sometimes due to insufficient knowledge or lack of comprehension skills. And questions relating to explanation of phrases usually stump me ! Honestly, i've really got not much of an idea how to study and what to study to improve. Also, sometimes there arer two questions that seem to be of same meaning , and i dont know which ans is for which, and end up losing 3-4 points. For Chinese Oral: Since young , ive not been able to speak clearly and properly, ESPECIALLY when i speak fast, thus i can't speak fluidly . this often decreases the amount of marks i got for chinese. And, how to improve for the picture part? sometimes there are only like 1 subject in the picture, after u talked about it, then wat? Lastly, is getting 45-50/70 good for compo? I really need your help, ive got barely half a year to prepare for this, and i know ive got alot of catching up to do. Thank you very much.

  @fireice i actually did well for p6, scored 56/60 highest for hcl in p, because my mom kept coaching me. @rock^star. Wat do you want me to type in chinese? My first post?

  My honest answer would be that if you figure that your chinese is starting to become sub-par, drop the higher chinese.

  Don't waste your time unless you have the interest.

  I would say that you would need at least 50/70, I would recommend memorising the format for composition well, even if you have nothing to write, just follow the format, throw a few su2 yu3s in that can be used for almost any question, and you should be good to go.

  For oral, nothing helps like practise. You should keep bugging your teacher for consultations and put in a lot of hard work, imo chinese is "muggable" unlike english, so do work hard.
