Hi guys!
I really need some advise fom you
all!
I have been rejected by NTU for 2011 intake and now i am thinking
whether to risk to wait for 2012 intake or to take up ACCA instead.
My GPA is 3.72, not sure whether have
chance entering Nanyang business school.
And may I know how's NBS
teaching structure like? I've make some research, it seems like is kind of
seminar based, but isn't that difficult to make friends and choose project
mates?
Really appreciate if you all could reply me.
Thanks.
Best is try to aim for a degree first.
Degree should have an edge when going for interviews.
ACCA can be an option if you have a diploma from poly or if you are switching careers from other industries to accounting.
try UniSIM or distance learning at SIM Global Education.
Work blah. Who know you ended up hating accountancy on the first month of work.
the first degree is always important....and it has to be local U...be it NUS, NTU or SIM..and the MU...ACCA is already a commonplace recognition but without a local degree, chances of climbing the corporate ladder esp. the GIC is a little tough...
but ACCA is not the end all.....CPA is the ultimate in accountacy....
Work in those Big 3 accounting firms confirm you will huat big time.
But be prepared not to have a life for the first 5 years at least.
thanks guys! I've decided to try UNI again. Hope to get in this time. =_
