"Don't you want to study overseas?Meet new friends and things like that?"
And so, I was told to research about life studying overseas. My Pop want me to try apply for overseas Unis after getting my O'Levels result.Apparently, I have a relative of the same age who has started studying medicine in Australia. Can meh? According to the Mr. Big Guy at home, I can easily enter a medicine studies in an overseas uni with my O'Levels result. His defense was that he does not want me to have a stress life here and it's cheap out there.. It's as if studying elswhere is no stress life. However, I just want to know about persuing overseas uni after o'levels. Is it possible?
PS:I know M'sia for sure.
PSS:My classmate is going for a New Zealand Uni after O's.hmm.
most likely your relative did a foundation course before doing medical studies, there's no way an accredited uni would accept entry based on 'o' levels. same for nz, you got to do a 10 mth or so metriculation studies before uni.
i doubt it's cheaper, otherwise many would have gone instead of trying so hard entering nus.
You can do A Levels (CIE -- http://www.cie.org.uk/) in Malaysia, and then do law there (for example, see http://www.bac.edu.my/. You can take three or four A Level subjects (say, Law, Business Studies, Accountancy and Mathematics), and then proceed to do law. Some do the A Level subjects within a year, and straight on to law.
