scholarship help!!!

This is for people who gets the scholarship and I really need to ask you~
Last Year, I get first in the whole level and my friend who get third place receive the scholarship letter and I didn't. It was really unfair! 2010 also like that, I get in top 5 in 2010, I never get letter then my mum ask the community centre whether my name is inside then they say yes! But this year my mum go ask the same community centre and they say no... It seems like I have to keep asking other community centres T_T Why are they doing this to me???? I wonder if I didn't personally go and take the scholarship award, will I have it or will I not have it forever? This is the question I need to ask you guys. Thanks~ My friend say she is getting it next saturday at Jurong Sec T_T I really don't know what to do...

bursary got income requirements
scholarship must see academic results and CCA records (and other achievements)
and scholarship usually got interview and/or aptitude test -
Some scholarships are not awarded twice to the same person (to give others a chance). Do check the conditions, criteria, etc.

I received mine this morning.. No need to take interview or some test, they just send a letter to your house. TS, maybe you can try asking your form teacher..

my life as student only have good progress award.
then dk when got this busary where i get to go on stage and shake hands with the MP.
that was when i was sec 1 and i have a remarkable improvement

For Secondary School Level, the MOE award scholarships and bursary to students who meet the requirement and perform well in the academic and non-academic areas.
These are:
MOE Edusave Scholarship (insert secondary school name)
MOE Edusave Bursary (insert secondary school name)
Good Progress Award
Edusave Awards for Achievements, Good Leadership and Service (EAGLES)
As far as I know, you can receive the award for two consecutive years. But like ascklee mentioned, there could be some rules implemented.
So far... I haven't gotten EAGLES because I didn't hold any leadership position in school

You will receive a letter if you're awarded the scholarship. Let's assume you are awarded the scholarship and if you didn't attend the ceremony, you can collect the certificate and cheque from the CC or your school depend on where is the ceremony held at. The CC will hold your certificate and cheque for 1 week before sending back to MOE HQ at Buona Vista~ That's the practice.

I gotten a scholarship in my final year, 3 bursary awards (which I am not eligible), and 1 good progress award. -
that means if it send back to MOE HQ at Buona Vista, I will not receive the cheque and certificate forever?:(

You can collect from there.
But first step is to find out whether you have been awarded the scholarship or not.

I ask the general office from school, they don't understand why I never get and couldn't help and said it is set up by MOE... It is really hard T__T Won't the MOE give my certificate and cheque to my school and then give to me personally if I never attend the ceremony? Thank u so much for replying!!!=)
