Pure biology and combin bio/chem

Hi I took o levels in 2011 and got B3 for pure biology(which was my best score) . If I retake o level as a private candidate and take English , combine humans (Geog/SS) , math , A math , combine science (chem/bio) and score five A1's for them , will my L1R5 be 9 points after combining The two o level certs(adding pure biology as a relavant subject into my L1R5) I got in 2012 and next year (2013) ? I know combining two O level certificates is possible and that cca point can be used as a private candidate . However , is it possible to use combine science (chem/bio) and pure bio in L1R5??? Because from SEAB website and the booklet I got , it says in the L1R5 , 2 subjects are taken from your best scoring subects except religious knowledge . Can it be pure biology despite me already using combine science (chem/bio) as my science requirement in my L1R5 . Thanks so much for the help . And I got C6 for Chinese last year so I basically met the minimum entry requirements for JC admission in passing Chinese , just worried about the science thingly

I've sent MOE an enquiry about this matter, the following is their reply:
We refer to your email that was sent to us on 28 February 2012.
We are sorry to inform you that for both Pure Biology and Combine Science (Biology/ Chemistry) cannot be used for the computation of aggregate point.

Hey . Thanks for your help . However , I called MoE the other day and they said you can indeed use both pure bio and combine bio /chem . This is strange .
