because im a foreign student who took the gov. centralised test to get into s3, and the only class with vacancy was a combined science class (chem&bio). i was a pretty good student in my previous school, and i think i can handle pure sciences, but i have no chance. i've read abt jcs pre-resquisites for H2 sciences is to have B3 for pure sciences? and even with A2 for comb. science, i cant take 2 H2 sciences. i want to take up medicine for uni, but i need 2 h2 sciences. is there anyway to do that, despite my current state? does anyone hav similar experience? thankss :)

You can always appeal to the various JCs (ask to speak to the HODs) to ask them to make an exception for you, if they allow you to demonstrate (eg. by giving you a test) that you're able to cope with H2 Chemistry and H2 Biology / H2 Physics (ie. the subjects required for Medicine).
As a last resort, you can study in Millenia Institute (a 3 year 'A' level course), which allows you to take H2 Chemistry and H2 Biology / H2 Physics with only a combined science background.

Im also in the same situation right now. im taking my Os this year and i badly wanna to go Jc and take 2h2 science but i dont know whether its possible.
same here , sec 3 this year, regretted not studdying hard to get into pure science class. Having combined science (phy/chem) , wants to do medicine in uni as well, have no idea if i will be able to take h2 science...
