Changing jc

i posted on another forum on my queries to trasfer. can u guys here help me out? its already may can i still transfer jc ? Hey guys so i was wonderign if i can still change jc. reason: i would like to continue gymnastics competitively. at first i tot i wanted to stop alr cause i tot i "retired". i know i can continue it as an external cca but its difficult that way compared to having it as an internal cca. i am planning to go to CJC for gymnastics. i could have gotten into that school thru normal JAE COP but it was too far from where i live. but now i have plans to live with relatives if i can transfer there. i have been doing gymnastics for 14 years and is a former national gymnast. Is it still possible to go CJC? if not, can i appeal into CJC and start as a J1 again next year? i know its a dumb idea but its really passion. i will be wasting a year but i wont regret the next 40. and after doing gymnastics for 14 years its really a waste if i stop. i aim to get back into national team and compete in 2020 Olympics if possible.  Â

Hi,
you could contact CJC Principal or their gymnastics CCA teacher-in-charge directly on your request.
Bear in mind that the only risk is (if you dont plan on repeating J1) that the curriculum being taught may be different as different schools start with different topics (i have no idea why there isn't any standardisation).

oni RI and HCI good in gym by 2020 wont u be too old? what ur ranking during YOG?

yeah my national team members were from RI and HCI. i could have dsaed there easily but i doubt i could cope with them. and Ri and HCI is only good cause of DSA students of which all of them i know. the rest cmi... by 2020 i am only 25 most gymnast stop at 30+ some even 40... i dint take part in YOG. they only sent one gymnast as there is no team event. they wanted the older gymnst to compete so i wasnt selected also.

the max for guy is erm, 25, for international levels.
anyway, does it matter which JC to go in order to make national team?

hmmm how old did u start? in Beijing Olympics Jordan Jovchev, a Bulgarian world champion, participates for the fifth straight Olympics. he was 34 years old. he qualify for 2012 londons and will be 38. there is no max age or age limit for any sports. i think u are talking about the oldest competitive male gymnast in singapore ? gabriel gan or will ? read my post thanks. it will help because i can do it as an internal cca. currently doing it at externall gym and it cost me 1.2k a month. so ofcourse cost wise it help to be in JC that offers it as a cca.

are u still in the sports scene? it will be great to have someone from the old gym in singapore :D hehe yeah its a huge dream. i bet every gymnast dreamt of going to the olympics. i just reignited this dream after retiring from the sport for a year due to injury. i really hope i can make it. haha thanks :D

have u checked with ur current principal and CJC principal?

cjc says appeal period over so i cant transfer this year. does that mean i can transfer next year?

J2 then transfer?
might be quite tough
or they might need u to retain
unless ur results can prove otherwise.

I don't mind starting again as a j1. Is it possible? The principal only said appeals are close this year...
