Aiya dammmm I get 20/30 leh. My Zhong he tian kong always get 3-4/10.
Zzzz.I think the Li Jie wen Da is okok la, only the questions that ask for your opinion quite waste time.
How is the paper 1? I think this time paper 1 quite ok, I did Q2 and Q4.

Yeah all the tong yi questions made me spend so much time there! I think I should get 22/30. Paper 1 was easy, Paper 2 was harder. How did you explain for question 29 and 30?

Is Q5 for paper 1 a trick question? Must we reply why are the people unhappy or why do they have very little savings?

Q29 i used the examPle of if a boy stole due to peer pressure, his parents can either call him a thief or teach him patiently. Being rebellious teenagers, if they scold him, he will continue to steal. I never really link.
Q30 I use the example if someone wants to commit suicide, a short sentence or encouragement will change the mind. Then I explain what the sentence means, which is that a small sentence can make a person do right or wrong things.
Aiya come to think of it, I never really link back. I hope the marker can be more lenient la.

Regarding Paper 1 question 5 , the baozhangbaodao. This is what I did. I related the question to the xianxiang being that the soceity now only cares about money and that money determines their happiness. Towards this fact I feel very worry.
Is this wrong ?

Hmm, I'm not really sure. Everyone is saying that paper 1 is easy but I feel that Q5 is very vague.. don't know what they want us to comment about!

Ya andony I think what you did is correct. But did you ask other aspects? Like parents, friends, school aspect? Like that will have more marks.
H_12H I think must write why they have no savings, then say hence they no saving then unhappy.

I think the question is asking about the fact that people now determine their happiness level over money (which is a negative xianxiang) .
@HelloAlibaba , yea I did relate to other aspects. But I relate to the fact that people are caring too much about money. Correct right ?

Hm for Q29, I explained that I agree with the statement and kinda explained it. For example I gave if I worked hard and got a choice between working locally and working overseas, a person's single sentence might help me change my opinion and have a different point of view. Is this acceptable????? For 30, I said a person's single sentence might lead me to a correct road or a wrong road. Then I explained and explained with the help of an example, should be okay right? I didn't really understand what to do to get those marks. And was Paper 2 really that easy?? I'm quite worried I won't get my a1....

My teacher say that Q5 is focus a lot about 快�and not 储蓄，i wrote a lot of guo ren feel that money buys happiness and wrote a lot about why we dont have savings...which i feel i will li ti..damn worried

I don't think Q5 should be more focused on happiness. Instead, I feel that we should write more on why Singaporeans worry about not having enough savings. If they want us to focus on happiness, they don't have the need to add in the word 'savings', isn't it?

Yah,i wrote abour singaporeans under friends' influence,spoonfeeding and going after idols all requiring money ..but after teacher told me and u read the question again i find something not write,i do hope what u think is correct @jiaying

Agree with jiaying. I think many candidates would have missed out the word " chu xu" or skipped it , in the end writing only about why they are unhappy.

Then i say friends go out watch movie jio here there waste money so no chu xu,then perosnal person want chase idol no chu xu then parents give them money 1 day ask too much dw give liao,so they no chu xu then quarrel unhappy..

Is this under reasons for why they are unhappy? If you explain under the context of people are very materialistic then it should be fine. You see where I'm going with this?
