Help In English

Hey all!! Im sec 3 this year and I got a d7 for English, despite reading a lot of newspaper, model essays and watching news. Furthermore with the new syllabus change, it is even harder for me to PASS English. Can anyone tell me what to do in order to do well for English??? :D Thanks in advance, your advice is greatly appreciated :)

read fictions instead of papers. papers always use the same old words and phrase. and it takes time for the improvement to show.

Read story books. Improve your vocabulary by looking for the meaning of the words u don't know. Practise constructing sentences with the new words and kindly ask,tour teacher to look through them. JIA YOU! Every effort counts.

My english was never good~
my tip is to just start speaking more english to people around you...
Maybe try saying a complete sentence without the singlish!

Listen to radio!
Write a lot! Personally, writing a diary journal everyday can help you to improve English. You know the events happened on that day, you just need to recall what happened, and make use of some new vocabs.
