what is the difference between act about it and act upon it?

  Hi,

    Act upon it means to take action on something.

    Act about it means a show about something?

  isit somewhat like this : Act about it is to do everything related to it but not doing it however, act upon it is to actually do what is supposed to be done.

  Hi,

    I did a search about phrasal verbs and it yielded the following:

    1. act on

    2. act out

    3. act up

    4. act upon

    There is no "act about".
