Drop to NA go ITE - End of the Line?

Hello guoys. My academic is doing terrible 2nd last for the level (for express) and im in a above-average acedemic school. My PSLE got 219 i oso dk how :( im from tech stream in Primary school leh. So i anyhow pick school with high aggregate now i have to compete with high aggregate people (hais...) now my sec 3 life so messy. My behavioral is not a problem since i class keep quite one but my acedemic like kns. I might drop to Normal Academic but my father wont be ver happy about it cause he expects me to take O-Levels and pass to go poly (lol) . But i srsly cannot tahan all these subjects like maths, poaa. Other subjects i ok-ok just pass.If i go ITE i plan to take up computer engineering since i learned about computer since i was 11.Im not boasting but i build 2 gaming pcs myself and helped my friends fixed tons of stuff (lol). Im not experienced in lifee and idk how stuff works but my dad expects alot from me since my sister go to University but i cannot make it if i continue at express. So how :z

It is the end of the line only if you want it to be.
I know of a couple of people who from ITE went to poly, and subsequently, NUS. Seriously.
What I can say is that if your mentality is that you cannot handle studying, then it is the end of the line for you, regardless of whatever it is you want to do in life.
Please do not have the mentality that you will excel in computer engineering just because you slapped together some gaming PCs, for I know that computer engineering is a lot more than just that.

Suggest you study hard which will both keep you in express and boost your score for poly entry.
Even if you don't enter poly, you can re-take again by the same age. Two chances to enter poly instead of one.
Just try your best so you know whether you can do better even if you don't make it. If cannot, then go to ITE with one year saved.

Sec 3 express, now is August.
Still have time to catch up. During your December holiday, start reading what you have learned in Sec 3. When you're in Sec 4, you will be very busy too. So, study hard, think of long term. When your Sec 3 finals result come back, don't feel so dejected. Be happy that you get to promote. It doesn't matter if you promote to Sec 4NA or continue sec 4E. Next year will be crucial year for you if you get to 4E. I personally have one friend who drop from 3E to 4NA. What's the big deal? It may be more suitable as syllabus won't get so pack, and you have more time for you to appreciate and enjoy learning.

You can still take O level in Sec 5 for NA.
In fact, most NA stream people goes to poly. Some goes to JC.
Only the less hardworking O level cannot-make-it and N level goes to ITE.

I think MOE has changed the education system. NA students can proceed to higher nitec in 2013 instead of Nitec . ITE offers higher nitec 2 years courses. I hope i was of some of help to you :)
