hi, i'm 16 and as you know o levels are around the corner, and this week is my study break week, but i suddenly got a dilemma between jc/poly at the last minute so i need help! uhm, last year, my grades weren't that good because i was relaxed and not studying at all, and therefore only passed english, chinese and comb chem/bio, which led to the hod suggest that i drop amaths, and i did. but this year, i knew roughly in which field i want to work in--business or even investment banking, and decided maybe i could enter business admin in poly. so i started to work hard for it and improved my grades remarkably, and that's when i realised that maybe after all, i could enter a jc... but sadly i realised cjc's prerequisite for H2 maths is a pass in o level add maths...
so i've got a few questions for some of you who have gone through o levels and have entered jcs
1)does anyone happen to know if you could appeal to a science course, given that i take pure physics and had taken up add maths before
2)if it's not possible and had to enter an arts course with H1 maths, will i still be able to enter into nus biz even if i worked hard for the a levels?? you know the competition is tougher nowadays :(
my maths used to be one of my strongest subjects in sec 1&2 until sec 3 but now it's back to an A, so maybe i can cope with the pressure of H2 maths(i suppose!) and i know there are 2 JCs offering H2 maths with bridging programme for those who are without add maths, but i prefer cjc as i have affliation points and some friends going there! I know it's a bit too late to ask so ya... help me?
