Polytechnic withdrawal & DAE (Need response fast!!)

I'm currently a 1st yr SP student, and i've lost interest in my current course and was wondering if i should withdraw now & apply for another course im interested in NYP, thru DAE next yr.
My qn. is if my L1R4 is 11 what are the chances of getting to Digital Entertainment Technology (Games)?

I applaud your courage. It is good to follow your heart's desire.
Before you make the withdrawal, pls enquire about the prospects of this course.
From what I heard, the starting pay of digital animators is very low initially. Only if you are very good can you make more money.
Also, have you tried digital modelling, animation, programming, video editing, scripting, sound mixing? I tell you, programming is hard work. The games you see are very graphic and nice but it takes so much hard work to program every scene.
You need to be good in logic, math, art and video to make it for this course.
Pls speak to poly counselors and those who work in this field. You may pick up web design as a sideline or other programming lang.
I am not an expert in this field. Nowadays, people want their games free or do illegal download. Sales of a computer game may be affected.
Or try digital apps programming?
