I got a few ques that I want to ask regarding JC. Someone help me thankyouverymuch
What time do JC normally starts and end school? (Esp MJC)
Is Econs H2 hard?
If get B3 for HMT o levels, should I drop cl in alevel or should i continue?
Disadvantage of continuing and not continuing.
When is the first day of school for JC? I mean like after you got ur o level result.
What is the most impt thing to look for when choosing JC?
Is it wise for a 5 points scorer to go to a 9 point school?THANKS PEEPS

1) dependent on the timetable, usually, school starts 7.30 and ends in the afternoon on average, sometimes 12.30 sometimes 5. However, you don't have lessons all the way, sometimes that period is empty meaning you can go library or stuff. Though I was not from MJC but i would expect the system to be similar. Also in JC you would expect lecture and tutorials, still similar to secondary school classes.

3) haha i also got B3. Which is a PASS. Which means you do not need to take a level chinese(equivalent of o level hmtl). you study one less subject for a levels you know.
4) not so sure but i remembered it was one day after i received my school posting
5) hmm.. personally, i think that one point matters. The whole environment is "upgraded" and more intellectually inducing. this is however, just my personal opinion and I am aware that it is elitist, so.. I don't know.
you seem visibly anxious (or excited) about JC. Not to worry too much, things will unfold naturally for you.

Hi..i graduated from mjc last year. Lessons start at 8am everyday except on wedsday,9am. Wednesday is also cca day, lessons usually end at 12.30pm for your cca to start(about 1.30pm usually). For monday,tuesday, and thursday, you would not expect lessons to end early especially because it is very common to get lots of extraaa lessons. Ends around 5-6pm at most. Friday usually won't get cos it would be too tiring.
Usually people would drop cl in a level because they significantly get more time to rest or focus on pw. getting A for cl would only add 1 point to your rank point score. I think the bad thing is that you have less opportunities of interacting with ppl taking cl in other classes.
For either h1 or h2 econs, at first glance, it seems like common sense which made us feel like it's very boring. On hindsight, it requires actual effort to understand the stuffs well. then the econs exams ended difficult for everyone because they hardly bother to touch it also..
Personally, I think the most impt thing when choosing which jc to go is whether u like it there or not lor..lol
