I heard ppl tell me the way cambridge markers mark n level or o level papers is very unfair and biased. if u put raffles sec, they mark more strictly. if u put neighbourhood sch they mark less strictly. they tend to categorise people as smarter or less smart.. and make the cream of the crop shine.. they pay more attention the best schools papers and give shit to the lower schools? Isn't it?
no. they dont know which sch the students from.

no lah. they don't know which schools the paper come from.
They know what school the paper belongs to, but they do not know which school is better and which school isn't. I'm pretty damn sure cause I just completed my Os yesterday.
Nope. They would not bother. They had so many scripts from all over the world (more than 150 countries).Do you think they really bother the sec school in Singapore. You think too highly of yourself.

Cambridge markers have to follow strictly according to the marking scheme.
For Maths, it is very straightforward and specific. So, there is little scope for the Cambridge markers to exercise their biasedness. For example, the question requires the candidate to correct the answer to 3 sig fig, the Cambridge marker cannot give the mark to the student from the top school when his or her answer has not been corrected to 3 sig fig.
