Can I offer foreign language in JC?

  Hi,guys.

   I have passed my higher mother tongue in sec school.

  And I intend to study a FL(foreign language) like german in H1 level in JC, since I do not have any fundation of FL in sec school. However, I overhearded that the one who did not take FL for O LEVEL cannot take FL in JC.

  Is it ture? Any advice?

  If you have not done German language as a third language in secondary school, you will not be allowed to take it as H1 subject in  JC.

  It is to be noted that only the top 10% of PSLE students are allowed to take German language as a third language in secondary schools ie you will have studied German language for four years in secondary before you proceed to do German language as a H1 or H2 subject in JC.
