  but again i still believe in studies, play and friends balance. Some pple their studies is fantastic but PR fail. Some pple PR damn good, CCA tok gong but their studies fail. To me, whether you can strike a balance is more impt than anything else.
  
  Then again, i always emphasize, dreams vs abilities. Are they realistic?

  I used to focus solely on studies for my O levels,this caused me to accumulate stress without myself knowing it,eventually affecting my performance in the O levels.I am now planning to balance studies/play/friends.Balance is not easy but the results are worth it.Realistic dreams(goals) coupled with hardwork,will help me get far in a lower-tier jc

  and a concrete plan will be useful. list it out and make a general timetable for yourself.
