i think i will speak to a bio teacher first before deciding on getting it as part of my H2.

I think that's a misguided way to approach this (subject combi) decision. H2 Sciences is more or less 1st year Uni level material. It doesn't make sense to do H2 Phys when you wanna do Bio based course in the Uni (or vice-versa).
How can you expect to score an A for H2 Phys if you don't have the interest in doing a Phys based Uni course? A levels is not like O levels in which you can just mug your way through without having a personal interest (ie. future Uni course) in the subject, and expect to score an A grade.
FYI, in many JCs, the % of students scoring distinction in the A levels is even higher for H2 Bio, compared to H2 Phys.
And Mugger, you say you're 100% sure you wanna do Medicine, yet fear you can't score A for H2 Bio. The fundamental basis for Medicine is H2 Chem + H2 Bio. Originally posted by Newcomer99:I would also like to know, how much more content (memorization requirements) does alevel bio have compared to olevel bio?
Approximately :
If O level Bio's memorization requirements = Level 1,
A level H2 Physics' memorization requirements = Level 3-4,
A level H2 Chemistry's memorization requirements = Level 3-4,
A level H2 Biology memorization requirements = Level 8-10,
University Science & Engineering Courses (Bachelor's Degree) = Level 50,
University Medicine (MD or MBBS) = Level 100.
H2 Bio is about 25 more times to mug as compared to O levels, do be prepared
Who says less popular sub less tutors, for my JC, Bio and Physics almost same no of tutors but Bio less classes
It makes perfect 0 sense if you want to take bio course (esp med) but want to skip H2 Bio, you will be forced to take LSM1003 (Bio bridging module) = mug H2 Bio in 3 months, where we now have the luxury of 2 years

Anyway I've decided to choose bio. Thanks to everyone here who have given me advices
