For students who wish to take up tuition (not all students benefit from tuition, it depends on what type of student you are, you know yourself best), better to start earlier than later.
Every year, many J1 students look for tuition only after they've failed their Mid Yrs, in which case, it's an uphill struggle as there's hardly enough time to catch up to pass the Promos (bearing in mind you have at least 3 or 4 H2 subjects to juggle).
As everyone is a unique individual; for student A, tutor A may be more suitable; for student B, tutor B may be more suitable. Some students don't benefit from tuition at all, others benefit tremendously. You know yourself best.
FYI, in case some of you are wondering, many of us here at HomeWork forum offer tuition services.
For H2 Physics tuition, Eagle offers it at EtonTuition.
For H2 Maths tuition, WeeWS offers it at EtonTuition.
For H2 Chemistry tuition, ChemGuide7 and myself offer it (separately).
For H2 Biology tuition, Darkness Hacker offers it, but he's busy in NS right now (PM him to inquire/enquire).
