Which middle-aged or elderly man wouldn't collapse standing on his feet for 4+ hours straight? Even physically fit 18 year old national servicemen routinely collapse during military parades standing for an hour. The prime ministers and presidents of the world should just sit when giving their speeches, instead of needlessly standing up for hours giving a speech and risking their aging health. The citizens will think no less of them for sitting down when giving long speeches ; quite the contrary, because a healthy prime minster is necessary for a healthy country.
