did anyone help the old lady who fell down while escaping? did those people in the kopithiam did anything? all they did was sit there and watch the show. they said "its just an exercise, no big deal".
singaporeans should wake up before something really happens..
I really hate the "mind my own business" attitude. "as long as it didn't happen to me, its ok".

I do see people helping uncle and aunties fallen on the ground. Which proudly says, i'm one of them. I do see alot of people not helping. Sad to say. Most of them are youngsters. Or young adults. Those that helps around are actually the older generation. Typical Singaporeans giving the bochap attitude.

Only me the stupid idiot grab that drunk man by the collar to warn him to stop the nuisance in the end, ended up in police station take statement as that drunk man was a wanted man by the police for other offences. It's funny how some people always like to scold or blame students for being rude/impolite/non-courteous. When actually it is these older people who are misbehaving and setting bad examples.Originally posted by dumbdumb!:i sure help u lor.
once i was in the mrt, and the doors were closing and this old uncle rushed in and got caught on the door. I pulled him in, then muttered to myself under my breath (i was listening to my ipod, so maybe i muttered too loud) that he shouldn't have rushed in, it was very dangerous. wah, he immediately scolded me and told me to mind my own business. last time i young, still quite subdued, apologised to him. now come to think of it... why i apologise? should scold him back.
that's because the older people are self righteous. they think they're perfect and always right because they lived longer and seen more things. but its the innocence of youth which is more righteous.Originally posted by SumOne:It's funny how some people always like to scold or blame students for being rude/impolite/non-courteous.
