and the other one pronounce "uncle"...and sound like you know what-"ANKLE"

so now we know how good is their english.

i don't quite see how you can be proud of singlish and claim to speak good english at the same time.
The two are quite inversely related. If you're gonna be proud of singlish, of course you have to be prepared to be mocked for bad english. That's what singlish is.

I understand that sometimes foreigners can't understand our English/Singlish/accent but making fun of it is another thing. Their defination of "Good English" is "American English" with those American slang. Just look at their taiwan variety shows and you can see how "good" their command of English is.
